This month is Alcohol Awareness Month, and there has been a lot of discussion involving alcohol and alcohol treatment. One of the major issues in treating and dealing with alcohol addiction is that it can often go hand in hand with other mental illnesses. These days more and more people are turning to prescription medication for anxiety disorders, social disorders, depression, and other forms of mental illness. While these medications are invaluable in treatment of these disorders, they are not a great ‘permanent’ solution to the problem.
