The term superfood is popular currently. Although it can have slightly different meanings, typically it is used in reference to foods that have great nutritional value. Some superfoods contain antioxidants; others are known to positively affect one’s health.
This week on our sister publication, Health Eagle, bee pollen was discussed as a superfood. Containing a great amount of vitamins and antioxidants, it is a unique food to add to your daily routine. Bee pollen is available in several different forms and has been seen to help with certain health issues.
